A MIT postdoc passionate about trustworthy deep learning in energy system control & optimization.

I am currently a postdoc of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) working with Prof. Munther A. Dahleh and Prof. Marija D. Ilic. I am affiliated with the Laboratory for Information & Decision Systems, the Institute for Data, Systems, & Society, and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Before joining MIT, I was a postdoc with the University of Hong Kong in 2022 (working with Prof. Yi Wang), a visiting scholar with Texas A&M University in 2020 (working with Prof. Le Xie), and a visiting scholar with the University of Washington in 2019 (working with Prof. Daniel S. Kirschen). I got my Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University in 2021.

My current research interests include: (1) Modern theory and practice of learning to optimize/control, (2) Distributed energy resource aggregation and intelligent control, (3) Trustworthy machine learning for the market, business, and policy making in electric power industry.

I serve as an Associate Editor for IET Renewable Power Generation and Protection & Control of Modern Power Systems. I rank top 1% in peer reviews verified by Web of Science, receiving several outstanding reviewer awards from prestigious journals such as IEEE Transactions on Power Systems.
